About Entheo Temple
All traditions pointing toward the same bright center.
We are an inclusive, non-traditional, inter-faith spiritual community for people who describe themselves as spiritual but not religious—and for anyone who wants to meet the mystery with an open mind.
Our story
A sanctuary for spiritual growth and healing.
Entheo Temple grew from a desire for a sincere spiritual home: a place where people could explore consciousness, care for one another, and find meaning without being asked to leave their questions at the door.
We gather in the Atlanta area for nature immersion, breathwork, gratitude practice, sacrament ceremonies, group retreats, integration circles, full moon rituals, and ongoing spiritual education. Our hope is simple—to facilitate direct experience of the Divine within and support the work of bringing that experience back into daily life.
Our spiritual orientation
Inter-faith by nature, Unitarian Universalist-adjacent by practice.
Our ministers practice within the umbra of Unitarian Universalism, drawing from Taoism, Zen Buddhism, Hinduism, Eclectic Paganism, and New Thought traditions. Our unique sect is Entheism: the belief that we are all One and the Divine is within.
The inherent worth and dignity of every person, and respect for the interdependent web of existence.
Justice, equity, compassion, acceptance, and encouragement of spiritual growth.
A free and responsible search for truth, meaning, and sovereignty over one’s cognitive experience.
A wider conversation
Connected to scholarship and practice.
Entheo Temple’s work has been recognized by researchers at Harvard Divinity School’s Center for the Study of World Religions. Minister Alex Himes participated in “Entheogenic Gospel: A Fireside Chat with Novel Psychedelic Church Founders” at the Psychedelic Intersections Symposium in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
We stay in conversation with the wider ecosystem of psychedelic care, spiritual practice, and community accountability, while keeping our own work rooted in local relationships.
The future sanctuary
Elixir Estate.
We are visioning a permanent sanctuary: a nurturing, off-grid, nature-loving home for healing and growth. Elixir Estate will give the community a place to gather deeply, welcome retreatants, practice good stewardship, and make spiritual belonging tangible.
